After supporting her short film Beach Flag, Sarah Saidan returns to Ciclic Animation for the production of her next project À coeur perdu.
Sarah Saidan studied in Iran and learnt Graphic Design at Azad University and she received a Master’s degree in Animation from the Faculty of Cinema and Theatre. She continued her studies in France at "La Poudrière" in Valence. Sarah Saidan has directed several short films, including the multi-award-winning Beach Flags. She recently worked on the adapted series Culottées from Pénélope Bagieu.
À coeur perdu talks about a sense of belonging to a place and a culture. The short film is also about the uprooting, a very personal subject for the director.
This film, produced by Caïmans Productions, received production support. The director, Sarah Saidan, will be in residence from November 2nd to February 26th 2021.
