The results of the first part of the official selection of the Annecy Festival

Despite the recent bad news about the pandemic, there is also some good news coming through the online announcement of short films and TV films at the Annecy Festival, which will take place from 14th to 19th June.

This year, we are happy to announce that 3 films supported by Ciclic Centre-Val de Loire are selected, including 2 films in short film category and a TV film project:

  • L'Amour en plan by Claire Sichez (Short Films in Competition)
    IKKI FILMS / 15' / 2D Computer
After 20 years of living together, Carine, Fabrice and their son have a well-ordered daily life. While Carine is restricted to household chores, Fabrice watches TV all the time, each in their own space, their eyes no longer meet.

  • Le Monde en soi by Sandrine Stoïanov and Jean-Charles Finck (Short Films in Competition)
Caïmans Productions / 18' / 2D Computer, ink on paper
While preparing for her first exhibition, a young painter commits so passionately to her creations that she loses touch with reality and descends into hallucinatory chaos. In a clinic, she improves by painting and watching a squirrel every day.

  • Vanille by Guillaume Lorin (Folimage - Nadasdy Films)
Folimage - Nadasdy Films / 26' / Special effects, 2D Computer, Photos, Diverse techniques, Live action
Vanille, a young Parisian girl recently arrived in Guadeloupe, dives in an adventure tinged with mystery, meeting picturesque characters. Holidays that promise to be rich in twists and turns!
Congratulations to all the teams!
