"No future" by Manon David : new project in partnership with La Poudrière

Ciclic animation welcomes No Future by Manon David, a one-month postgraduate grant residency in partnership with La Poudrière.

Manon David directed her first self-taught film before joining a DMA in animation cinema in Paris and then the Poudrière in Valence where she directed her graduation film Les Vacances de la Loose (2019) with the participation of ARTE. She also directed L'anniversaire de Tom for Les espoirs de l'animation (Gulli).
No Future is her next short film project. A dramatic comedy that shows through the prism of humour, the difficulty of people to project themselves into the future, whether economically, ecologically or sentimentally.

This project has received a writing grant by Ciclic and the Centre-Val de Loire Region and a residence programme financed by Ciclic Centre-Val de Loire and La Poudrière. Director, Manon David, will be in the residence from November 10th to Décember 8th.
