Alongside painting, illustration and animation, Émilie has a natural flair for storytelling. She earned a distinction for her short graduation film Encore un gros lapin ? (or Big bunny again?) which was noticed and produced by Les Films Sauvages.

Granny’s Sexual Life is a travel into youth and intimate memories of a Slovenian woman during the first part of the 20th century when the Catholic Church’s scrip strict doctrine imposed social conventions according to which women were easily perceived as the mere objects of meeting the sexual needs of their husbands.

This project has received a production support for animated shorts. Directors, Urska Djukic & Emilie Pigeard , will be in residence from July 30th to November 27th 2020.
