New project in residence : "The Crimson Season" by Clémence Bouchereau

We are happy to welcome for a second time a project that uses the pinscreen with the animated short film The Crimson Season by Clémence Bouchereau, in residence until December 3rd, 2021.

Clémence Bouchereau is a designer and director specialized in direct animation and traditional techniques. She begins her studies at the Emile Cohl School in Lyon where she learned animation and illustration. She directed Aux Gambettes gourmandes a sand on glass animated short film, selected at several festivals. She continued her studies at La Poudrière school in Valence from 2012 to 2014 where she directed L'Echappée and Ride Away. She was also an animator on Reza Riahi’s Navozande. After a research residency at CNC and a transmission workshop on the pinscreen supervised by Michèle Lemieux, director Clémence Bouchereau begins the production of her new short film made on pinscreen.

This film, produced by Bandini Films , has received production support. The director, Clémence Bouchereau, will be in residence from November 2nd 2020 to December 3rd, 2021.
