New animated short in residence: l'Amour en plan by Claire Sichez

Two new projects arrive at Ciclic Animation in June including the animated short film by Claire Sichez L'Amour en plan, in residence until September 3rd.

Claire Sichez is a screenwriter and director of animated films who was at the School of Decorative Arts in Strasbourg (illustration section) and graduated from the school of animation film La Poudrière in 2011 where she directed À Toutes Jambes!, Le Fumeur et Vieille Courge, his graduation film. Then she directed several short films including Moi j'attends which won an honorary prize at the Cinanima festival in 2014 and was finalist for the Cartoon d'or 2015.
Lâhmès et la Grande Dévoreuse, co-directed with Marine Rivoal, was selected by the Animation Committee of the Academy of Arts and Techniques of Cinema to be one of the 12 short films shortlisted for Cesar for Best Animation Film (Short Film) in 2017. It also received the screenplay award at "Les Murs ont des Yeux" festival.

L'Amour en plan is written and directed by Claire Sichez and the design was created by Fanny Blanc. The animated short film talks about the subject of conflicting family relationships in the form of a drama with comedy where family members face the problems that eat them up.

This project has received a production support for animated shorts. Director, Claire Sichez, will be in residence from June 3rd to September 3rd 2020.
