Tom CJ Brown presents an identity journey aboard his new short film Christopher at Sea in residence until June 30th.
As a filmmaker, director, and illustrator, Tom’s award winning films have screened worldwide, winning accolades from Sundance, SXSW, AFI Fest, ADC Young Guns, Annecy, Ottawa, Royal Television Society, three British Animation Awards and more. He works in house at Psyop’s Soho offices in Manhattan directing commercial projects alongside his film making and illustration work. His clients include MTV, Coca-Cola, Rachel Rose, Red Cross, Google, Nike, Annie’s Homegrown, GE and Sesame Street.
Christopher at Sea is a queer nautical thriller toying with both the characters’ and the audience’s perception of time and reality. The animated short film emphasizes the inner life of the characters.
This film, produced by Miyu Productions, received production support. The director, Tom CJ Brown, will be in residence from February 8th to June 30th 2021.
