About Vendôme

Vendôme is the subprefecture of the Loir-et-Cher department, the second largest town in this department after Blois and has now 18,000 inhabitants.

It is located 175 kilometers southwest of Paris and can be reached by car (2h15) and by TGV (40 minutes).

Thanks to its sports and cultural facilities, as well as its economic dynamism, Vendôme is a very pleasant town. In 1986, it became one of the most important towns in terms of art and history. You can explore its rich cultural heritage by walking along the canals.
