The ordeal of sleep disorders concentrated in an animated documentary, it's the new project of Janis Aussel in residence until October 11th.
Janis Aussel studied animation at Estienne School in 2011. Then she studied at the Gobelins the following year and finished her studies at La Poudrière in Valence in 2018 where she directed Basav! his graduation film and Emilien for Espoirs de l'animation (Gulli) which won the Jury’s Special Mention.
Nuits blanches is an animated documentary made in paper cut that deals with themes like insomnia and sleep disorders. The animated short includes several testimonies from patients and doctors around the suffering generated by several nights without sleep and social exclusion.
This film received a postgraduate grants in partnership with La Poudrière, the animation school in Bourg-lès-Valence. The director will be in residence until October 11th.
