Mathilde Parquet came in residence for the first time three years ago, thanks to her postgraduation grant in partnership with La Poudrière. The director comes back for the production of her animated short film Trona Pinnacles.
Graduated from EMCA (Cinema School) at Angoulême, Mathilde Parquet makes in 2013 her first graduated film called Louis. Then she joins the animation school La Poudrière where she directs Claude in 2014 and her other gratuated film Petit homme the next year. This one was selected at Annecy International AnimationFestival in 2016 in the gratuation film category. Trona Pinnacles is her first professional film. Trona Pinnacles tells about a personnal family story.
This project has received a production support for animated shorts. Director, Mathilde Parquet, will be in residence from March 4th to September 6th.
